Physical Therapy

Your Treatment
The first thing we do is get a baseline of your health by reviewing your medical history, including surgeries you have had and medications you are currently taking. We also do a comprehensive evaluation where we understand your injury and what we may be able to do to relieve your symptoms. Communication is key to maintaining your progress and identifying changes to your symptoms. We must be kept informed of anything that may impact your treatment.

Every client will receive a customized home exercise program tailored specifically to your individual needs. This will help speed your recovery. There are additional things we may ask you to do including stopping any activities that may affect your injury. It is also important that you keep your therapist informed of any changes in your regular activities.

Working with Your Physician
We like to work closely with your physician. Let us know if you are going to visit your doctor and we can fax a report of your progress. If you should need a new prescription for your therapy, as required by some insurance companies, it can be faxed to us by your doctor. Our fax number is (484) 582-0666.

Your Appointment
You will receive the best results from your physical therapy when you attend your customized schedule set forth by your physical therapist. We know life can be hectic and unpredictable. If you cannot make your appointment, please provide 24 hours notice so that we can schedule someone else. We charge $50 for late cancellations or no-shows.

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you are early, let us know and depending on availability, we may be able to start your session early. If you arrive late, your treatment time will be shortened accordingly or you may have to reschedule.

Your Attire
You should dress in comfortable loose fitting clothing similar to what your wear to exercise. If you are receiving treatment on your lower body, shorts should be worn. A loose-fitting, short-sleeved tee shirt would be suitable if you are receiving treatment for an injury to your upper body. Please do not wear jeans, dress shoes, or formal wear. We do have changing rooms available for your use. For females who are coming for upper extremity or spine related issues, we ask that you wear a sports bra to allow us to examine the upper body.

We will verify your benefits on your behalf, but ultimately it is your responsibility to know your financial obligation including co-pays, co-insurances, and deductibles. Co-pays and co-insurances are expected at the time of service. We accept cash and checks. We also accept Visa and Mastercard credit cards.
